Special-OlympicsSpecial Olympics Alberta celebrated its 37th Annual Awards and AGM at Four Points Sheraton Edmonton South, 7230 Argyll Rd NW. The event inspired over 200 guests which included the athletes, coaches and supporters like Alberta Sheriff’s Chief Lee Newton, Edmonton Police Services Deputy Chief Brian Simpson, RCMP Assistant Commissioner Marlin Degrand, and Olympic medalist, Jamie Salé.

This year, Special Olympics Alberta inducted outstanding members and communities in this year’s awards who have displayed phenomenal commitment and passion for Special Olympics.
