Developing Leaders Giving Back: Edmonton Food Bank Volunteering

December 12 @ 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Please join us for an afternoon of giving back by volunteering your time with the Edmonton Food Bank! Meet other people in the industry and help our local food bank help local families and children through the busy holiday season.

This event will take place on Tuesday, December 12 from 12:30pm – 4:00pm at the Edmonton Food Bank warehouse (11508 – 120 Street). Activities may include sorting and/or repacking donated food, or packing hampers, or other related activities.

The Edmonton Food Bank relies heavily on volunteers, food donations and financial donations to help those in need. They serve over 20,000 people per month through their hamper programs, with over 40% of those they serve being children under the age of 18. For more information, or to donate visit: http://edmontonsfoodbank.harmonyapp.com/donate/.

As we will be working in the warehouse, casual clothing (jeans, athletic wear, etc.) is recommended. Closed toe footwear is required.
