The Rural Alberta Advantage’s percussive folk songs about hometowns and heartbreak, and relentless tradition of touring have taken the trio from humble recognition amongst indie rock die-hards as “Canada’s best unsigned band” to sold-out tours and devoted fans around the world with featured coverage from Spin Magazine, Pitchfork, The New York Times and Rolling Stone.
The Provincial Archive, an indie pop recording and power-touring trio from Edmonton that bring an energetic, road tested, live show to the stage.
We couldn’t be more excited have open the show for us this year – St. Albert’s native son… Paul Woida. A master looper…singer and songwriter, Paul is a mezmerising live performer.
Fresh off their win as the iheart radio best new alt rock artist and three Juno nominations, the Strumbellas straddling indie rock, alt-country and rock grass, the Strumbellas are nominated for three 2017 Juno’s starting with their monster song: “Spirits” for single of the year.
Described as “an award winning country singer/songwriter with a raw performance style,” we look forward to have her on the seven stage.
The Elwins are a pop band from the lakeside town of Keswick, Ontario that specialize in writing bright infectious songs. They’re a group of guys that you would be happy to introduce to your friends and parents. We are thrilled to have them join us to perform in 2017.
We’re excited to have the horn driven, bass thumping neo-soul, of frazey ford. Frazey and her band combine a powerful arrangement of musical influences in their live show that we can’t wait to hear.
The Royal Foundry is an electro-alt-pop quartet who’s music has garnered massive attention from North American radio and from powher houses media giants like Disney and ABC television.
The Seven Music Fest takes place in the heart of St. Albert on the beautiful setting of Seven Hills (Mission Park). The full day event hosts musical acts on the main stage and feature a variety of vendors including food, artists, and merchants.
